Manual Surveys
Combining the accuracy of electronic data with the flexibility of manual surveys
Localised traffic plans and highway improvement schemes such as junction remodelling require accurate traffic flow data, such as: passing counts; turning movement surveys and origin & destination surveys, at both the planning stage and also after any works carried to monitor the success of the scheme. Traditionally these types of manual traffic surveys can, for the inexperienced be, difficult to set up, difficult to monitor and difficult to analyse.
Golden River’s solution to meet the needs of the transport planner is with its hand held traffic data collection system enabling surveyors to use synchronised and pre programmed data loggers for the recording of data which once downloaded can be easily analysed to produce professional and error free reports.
